“I remember when I first took drum lessons when I was eleven years old, I only lasted two sessions before I quit. It was tremendously boring, which is a shame, because it stopped me from playing for a long time. It wasn’t until years later that a friend of mine showed me the joy of drumming and having fun while playing, which made me become thoroughly invested in learning everything I could about the craft. I will help you to internalize rhythms and play by ear before we learn the theory behind what you are doing, that way you will learn to love and appreciate the spirit of jamming and having fun with music. ”
About Me
My journey with music began as an eight year old kid who discovered a love for rock music such as Led Zeppelin and AC/DC, that lead me to wanting to pick up an instrument. I wanted to drum but was deterred by the boring lessons I took. I instead went to the guitar, in which I had a very cool teacher and fun lessons. I love guitar, but always wanted to drum again, however it wasn't until around age sixteen that I would start getting behind a kit again, and teaching myself through my ear and Youtube videos. I always wished my teacher focused on getting me interested in playing first, then I would have had many more years of playing.
In-Home lessons
Tired of having to worry about driving your kids to a place for lessons? No sweat, I have a portable kit for teaching and I will come to you for the lessons. Virtual lessons are also available over Zoom, so you don't have to stress about any of the hassle of getting to or from lessons.
Basic: For beginners with little to no experince
Intermediate: For players who want to take their skills to the next level
Advanced: For Professionals who want high level advice/taste opinions
No matter what level of drummer you are, I want to help you improve! $25 for a half hour lesson, or $40 for an hour!
